Architectural Technician

River Valley Architects, an industry leading firm headquartered in Eau Claire, WI is currently experiencing significant growth and has an opening for a Design Technician in the Aurora, CO branch office. This is a great opportunity to be part of an innovative and motivated team providing architectural services across a range of sectors.

The Architectural Technician will work under the guidance of a Project Manager and will be intimately involved in all phases of the design process. A Technician will participate in regular meetings with clients, consultants, and the project team. The Candidate will be responsible for the preparation of accurate and detailed schematic designs documents, design development documents and construction documents in both Revit and AutoCAD Architecture.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• An Associate Degree in Architectural Drafting/Design
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). SketchUp, Bluebeam, Photoshop, and Adobe desired
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• 1-3+ years of experience preferred
