Women in Business Committee invites you to attend TACOS & TAKEDOWNS at the Martial Science Academy. You will learn basic self defense, situational awareness, and safety training followed by delicious tacos for lunch.

About Our Instructor: 

Meet Renshi Lena Salgado!

Renshi Salgado is a 4th Degree Black Belt in Shito-Ryu. Renshi Salgado and Renshi Beach co-own the studio. Renshi Salgado takes care of all the administrative details as well as teaching, planning events, student accounts, and social media.  

A little more about Renshi Lena Salgado-4th Degree Black Belt in Shito-Ryu:

• Began training at age 37 with her young daughter.

• Also has 1st Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.

• Air Force veteran and wife to a retired Army veteran.

• Loves weight lifting, sprint triathlons, and karate.

• Has extensive experience teaching special needs students of all ages and abilities.

  • Mom to two special needs kids-Autism, ADHD, physical limitations​.

The Women in Business Committee serves as a voice for all women in business, acting as an advocate on issues that affect their professional growth and long term economic vitality.
