Diversity and Inclusion Council - “The Do’s and Don’ts of an Inclusive Interview Process”
Avitus Group's Training Coordinator Kate-Linn Salyers will be presenting
"The Do's and Don'ts of an Inclusive Interview Process"
A brief overview of the recruiting process with an emphasis on the interviewing process. Kate-Linn will take you through the steps to recruit, followed by what to say in an interview. And more importantly, what not to say.
In today's fast paced technology driven world there are a lot of companies seeking to hire the right people, and a lot of people looking for the perfect job. Hiring the right person the first time saves money and frustration after the hire. While this presentation may not be all inclusive, it will provide needed information to assist in hiring the right person, the right way.
Avitus Group will be providing a light breakfast. Please RSVP.
Kate-Linn Salyers is the internal Training Coordinator with Avitus Group. Kate-Linn has been in the training industry for 15 years, starting her career as a technical drift and high speed backing instructor for a driving school.
At a young age Kate-Linn assisted in the development of a Train the Trainer and Back to Basics program that is currently used across the country in a prominent restaurant chain.
After leaving the restaurant industry she made the exciting jump to the world of co-employment. Where she started in sales and quickly made the move to operations and then to management. While Kate-Linn was in management she over saw safety, compliance, HR, benefits, payroll and workers’ compensation departments. After many years of all work and no play Kate-Linn made the choice to step away from the industry and spend time working with several fundraising groups and participating in Rugby events located in her beloved home of Glendale, Co.
Kate-Linn made her way back to the co-employment industry when she was informed of an opportunity to mix her passion for the co-employment industry and training. Currently, Kate-Linn is developing an all-encompassing Avitus University training program to help support the exciting growth Avitus Group is experiencing.
