Diversity and Inclusion Council

Mission: to promote diversity and inclusion in the business community through education, outreach, networking, mentoring and recognition programs that engage our entire community and support our business leaders.
 
Vision: to transform our diverse business communities into environments where all businesses are valued for their uniqueness and differences, and are confident that their contributions matter.
 
Purpose: to encourage business to business networking, improving the business climate and making this community prosperous, economically attractive and desirable as a place to work, live and buy local.

As the committee has grown and we have many new faces, we would like to start of the new year with Breakfast and Informal Discussions on the Diversity Challenge.

We will break out into small focus group and materials will be provided for discussions to gather and share valuable information on the issues and challenges faced in our business organizations.

*Due to the sensitive nature of Diversity and Inclusion related discussions, all participants can contribute candidly and disclose only what they are comfortable with.  The environment will be safe and all parties will display respect for each other’s viewpoints and experiences.
